Our Story
Croft 21 is more than a place to stay. It's our home, our way of life and a small piece of the Highlands that we are proud to share.
We are a family run business. From the very beginning our aim has been simple -
To give others the chance to experience the same peace and tranquility that we are lucky enough to enjoy every day.
Our Promise
Everything we have created has been built on care, honesty and a genuine love for what we do. That is why we have chosen NOT to follow dynamic pricing. We believe in keeping things fair, consistent and accessible.
Life Here
Life here changes beautifully throughout the year.
Spring - brings lambs in the field
Summer - offers long light filled evenings
Autumn -transforms the landscape into rich colours and harvest time
Winter - brings cold crisp nights and if you are lucky the opportunity to witness the Northern Lights.
A Note on our first season
A
As we open Croft 21 Glamping this year we want to be completely transparent with our guests.
Following major groundworks and excavations to create the site the landscaping around the pods is still a work in progress.
While everything is safe, clean and ready for you to enjoy, some surrounding areas may feel a little bit more unfinished than we utlimately intend. Landscaping can take time to fully establish and mature.
To reflect this we are offering a 15% discount on all stays during our first summer season.
WIldLife
Wildlife is part of everyday life on the croft.
You might spot:
Deer moving quietly across the land
Red Kites soaring in the skies overhead
Pheasants nearby or sleeping on your decking
We also share the Croft with our own animals:
Hakki and Victor - our 2 mini Shetlands who are very much part of the family
Our pods overlook the riding arena so during your stay you may see some beautiful horses visiting and being exercised.
Caring
Looking after the environment is incredibly important to us. We believe that enjoying nature also comes with a responsibility to protect it.
We aim to run Croft 21 as sustainably as possible by:
Reducing waste and encouraging recycling
Reusing materials wherever we can
Limiting single use plastics
